Simonis cloth is NOT a "felt", it is carefully and precisely woven cloth fabric specifically designed to enhance your game by allowing the balls to roll straight and true while still maintaining consistent speed and spin. Simonis cloth is woven from very fine combed wool yarn of long, tightly-twisted threads sheared perfectly flat. The result is a precision billiard cloth that achieves the smoothest, most accurate and most consistent play surface available. Up close, Simonis Cloth looks and feels very different. Simonis cloth is incredibly smooth with no felt-like fuzziness or nap that pills, sheds and forms gullies on your billiard table, adversely affecting speed and accuracy. With Simonis cloth, ball spin is consistent, and the roll stays straight and true on every shot.
Simonis billiard cloth is a high-quality billiard cloth. Simonis cloth's tight weave naturally repels liquid spills and stains, and lasts 2 to 3 times longer than ordinary woolen cloth. Simonis felt is recommended for all pocket pool and snooker games. Simonis cloth is made in Belgium. Enough billiard cloth is included to cover your pool table's bed and rails. We offer both Simonis 760 and Simonis 860 cloth and both are available in 78" width. Simonis 760 cloth is slightly faster than 860, and is best suited where 8 ball is the primary game played. High-Speed play for Bank Pool, Straight Pool and One-Pocket. Simonis 860 cloth was specially designed for 9 ball.

Simonis pool table felt installation guide for help recovering your pool table. When installing Simonis cloth, be sure to put the SMOOTH SIDE UP. The smooth side also has printing on the edge with the grade, i.e. SIMONIS 860. This is the playing surface of the cloth. (The back of the cloth is not sheared as fine and is slightly fuzzy).

The Simonis X-1 chalk dust removal tool works better than a traditional brush that only moves dust around on the cloth or vacuum cleaner use that can damage the cloth. The Simonis X-1 deeply extracts the chalk dust from the baize and retains it in its revolutionary high-tech structure!
The Simonis X-1 works by static electricity and by capillarity action. It is the rapid back and forth movement and not exaggerated pressure that is used for optimal effectiveness. After having cleaned the whole table, including the horizontal part of the cushions, use the Simonis X-1 to delicately brush the playing surface in parallel lines in order to give the cloth its well-kept appearance. The Simonis X-1 possesses a high absorption capacity and can easily retain the dust of half a chalk in its textile structure. Once the Simonis X-1 no longer seems to retain the chalk, all one has to do is release the dust absorbed by the high-tech structure to restore its initial effectiveness by either vacuuming the textile structure or slapping the structure with your hand. NOTE - The Simonis X-1 is Not recommended for Brunswick Centennial or other teflon treated cloth.
